How much does it cost?

TranscribeCheap pricing starts at just 59¢ per minute of audio. Thirty minutes? That's just $17.70. No extra charges for multiple speakers. No extra charges for verbatim.

How long will it take? 

We offer delivery in 1, 3, 7, or 14+ business days. Files under 60 minutes with good audio quality can usually be delivered quickly. Longer recordings, files with poor audio quality, or larger orders may take longer. Have a big batch and want an estimate? Get in touch!

Do you provide a discount for high volume?

We keep things simple and have one low price for everyone, from just 59¢ a minute. 

Can you partner with us?

Absolutely! Shoot us an email or call for details. For qualified clients, we can also offer invoiced billing.

Do you offer transcription services in other languages?

Our main focus is on transcribing to/from English. We offer transcription services in Spanish, French, Portuguese, German, Italian, and several other languages, though pricing and turnaround time vary from our normal offering.

Will TranscribeCheap sign a non-disclosure agreement?

Of course. We keep all client information confidential, all the time. Where a NDA is specifically needed, we're happy to sign yours.

What format will I receive completed transcriptions in?

All transcriptions are delivered as Microsoft Word documents. (Certified transcriptions are delivered as .pdf documents, to ensure the accuracy of the certification.)

What if my audio is really difficult?

We'll do our best to capture what's audible. We can also work to modulate audio files where what’s spoken is otherwise inaudible. Pricing is from $25 per audio file, please enquire for more info.

What if I need to present the transcription in court?

We're members of AAERT, the professional transcription organization, and can certify the transcription for you.

What if I need a super highly polished transcription?

We'd encourage you to order the 'professional editing' as an addition to the transcription, to have an extra set of ears review and revise the transcription.

Oops, I uploaded the wrong file... can you refund me?

Per our terms, we're only able to refund work that isn't yet completed. IF you need us to stop, let us know ASAP, and we'll be happy to refund whatever wasn't transcribed.

What if my audio file is just two minutes long?

We have a 15 minute minimum order. This generally doesn’t apply in orders where there are multiple files totaling more than 15 minutes. Please enquire for more info.
